Welcome to
To Do And Teach Citizens Ministries

About us

Our Mission

Our Mission is to point people to the cross and revitalize the church by teaching sound biblical principles on kingdom citizenship, discipleship and relationship, which will result in the true restoration in worship, evangelism, and education.

Statement of Faith

We Believe the Bible to be the inspired and only infallible written Word of God.

We Believe that there is only One God, eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son and, God the Holy Spirit.

We Believe in the blessed Hope, which is the rapture of the Church of God, which is in Christ, at His return.

We Believe that the only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in the precious Blood of Jesus Christ.

We Believe that regeneration by the Holy Ghost is absolutely essential for personal salvation.

We Believe that the redemptive work of Christ on the Cross provides healing for the human body in answer to believing prayer.

We Believe that the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, according to Acts 2:4, is given to believers who ask for it.

We Believe in the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a holy and separated life in the present world.

Our Vision

The vision of this ministry is to manifest the kingdom of God on earth as it is in heaven, as Jesus stated in Matthew 6:10. We desire to see the kingdom of God demonstrated in every area of our lives. The Kingdom of God is not in word, but power. And these are the things that Jesus began To both Do and Teach.

Our Pastor

Pastor James D. Stewart

Pastor James D. Stewart received the Lord Jesus Christ as his personal savior on April 12,
1987 in Aliquippa, PA. At the age of 17, God delivered him from the street life.

Upon his salvation,Pastor James D. Stewart submitted himself to be fathered by Bishop Melvin E. Clark, Sr. At the Church in the Round, Pastor James D. Stewart took earnest heed to the words that Bishop Melvin E. Clark, Sr. spoke and the life that he lived. As a result of his hunger and thirst for righteousness,he was filled: filled with the Word, filled with Wisdom, and most of all filled with the Spirit of God. Bishop Melvin E. Clark, Sr. took the time to demonstrate and pour love into Pastor James D. Stewart’s life, and with humility and gratitude Pastor James D. Stewart received it, and lives a life that demonstrates his appreciation.

On March 23, 1993, Pastor James D. Stewart was licensed as a local minister under Bishop
Melvin E. Clark, Sr. at The Church In the Round. There he served faithfully as unto the lord,
demonstrating his faith by his works as he lead the Second Chance Program For Men, was the Vice President of the Street Ministries, a member of the Prison Ministry Team, and a member of the Praise Team.

In September of 1997, through much fasting and prayer, the Lord led Minister James D.
Stewart to Montclair, NJ under the care of Bishop Norman L. Prescott, Pastor of Trinity Temple
COGIC, to serve him and be a blessing to the Body of Christ. While under the leadership of Bishop Norman L. Prescott, Minister James D. Stewart continued his diligent service in many capacities. He was the Northern District Evangelist; Leader of the Praise Team and Sunday School Men’s Department; Chairman of Men’s Ministries; Chairman of Street Ministries; and the Episcopal Adjutant (Armorer Bearer) to Bishop Prescott of the 3 rd Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction of NJ COGIC. In August 2001, he was ordained as an Elder in the Church of God in Christ by Bishop Norman L. Prescott. He was appointed in 2006 to serve as a National Adjutant in the Church of God in Christ where he continues to serve.

On September 17 th , 2005 Elder James D. Stewart was married to the lovely First Lady
Bronwynne L. Stewart. The following year in October of 2006, the Lord spoke to and called Elder James D. Stewart to the Pastorate. He officially began serving in the office of Pastor on December 3, 2006, where he has now served for eleven years as a Pastor after God’s own heart to the sheep of, To Do and Teach Citizens Ministries, Inc.
